Conscious Breathwork

Conscious Breathwork is a somatic healing practice that uses intentional, rhythmic breathing to support physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.

By working directly with the breath, this practice can support nervous system regulation, access expanded states of awareness, release trauma stored in the body, and deepen emotional processing and self-connection.

Sessions begin with an overview of the breathwork practice and time for questions, followed by about one hour of guided Conscious Breathwork. Participants will be invited to lie comfortably on their backs during breathwork. We will close with time for reflection and gentle integration of the experience.

About Your Facilitator

Steph Snyder (she/her) is a conscious breathwork facilitator, yoga teacher and massage therapy student who understands firsthand the power of embodied practices.

Steph first connected with Conscious Breathwork during a transformational experience in El Salvador in February 2020. Ever since, Conscious Breathwork has become her most profound healing modality. This journey led Steph to shift her life’s work toward supporting others in cultivating their own inner homecoming.

A lifelong-learner, Steph has completed two 200-hour yoga teacher trainings — in 2025, under the guidance of Lindsay Gonzalez, and in 2021) — and a 10-month, 250+ hour Conscious Breathwork facilitator training grounded in trauma-informed care under the guidance of Claudia Nanino.

Steph facilitates a Conscious Breathwork group session in Vancouver, Washington.

“I attended Steph Snyder’s Conscious Breathwork workshop at the beginning of 2026, and it was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.

As a yoga teacher and lifelong dancer, I already felt connected to my breath, but this style of breathwork combined with Steph’s facilitation took it to a new level. She created a warm, safe, and deeply intentional space, taking time to educate and prepare us so we felt fully supported going in.

During the session, I experienced a profound sense of safety, release, and surrender, something that doesn’t come easily to me. That feeling has stayed with me, and I’ve been able to return to it even after the workshop. I left feeling an overwhelming sense of love, joy, and gratitude.

I highly recommend Steph’s breathwork to anyone looking to deepen their healing, reconnect with themselves, and cultivate a true sense of inner safety.”
